Improving Brunswick's Internal Communications with Viva

Using Viva Connections and our Change Leadership services, we helped Brunswick improve the look, feel, and overall experience of their internal communications.

THE CLIENT Brunswick Corporation is the global leader in marine recreation, and home to more than 60 industry-leading brands. Brunswick has more than 18,500 employees operating in 29 countries.  THE CHALLENGE Brunswick was looking to improve the look, feel, and overall experience of their internal communications. To do this, the solution was to be Viva Connections. What they did not have was a partner they could trust to deploy the platform and get their employees to use it.

WHAT WE DID We accompanied Brunswick along their journey to deploy Viva Connections to serve their employees across the globe. This involved creating custom interfaces to make sure the platform was engaging and easy to use, but at the same time fit within Brunswick’s branding.

We then trained their employees to adopt the platform in a series of workshops and training calls with our Change Leadership team.

THE RESULT Brunswick employees now start their day with Viva emails informing them of important conversations, to-dos, or content they might have missed. Through Viva Connections, they now access news and conversations that are relevant to them from within Microsoft Teams and the Teams mobile app. These could be messages from the CEO or reminders of upcoming deadlines. The Viva Connections app provides the latest Brunswick news to every employee. To top it off, our Change Leadership team guided the employees to regular use of the new technology, helping to bring an 820% increase in active monthly users.

“Brunswick could not have given any higher praise to you and your team for the exceptional work and execution of this project!” -Alex Gaskin, Success Manager, Microsoft
